The 'Boss Man's Font Options

We have 2 different font styles in 3 sizes. Our fonts are: Goudy Light and Goudy Cursive. We have both upper and lower case, as well as numbers and punctuation, for all fonts.

We have 18 point, 24, point and 36 point sizes.

The selection of font, size, and case can dramatically change the look of the final product. The same line of text will look totally different in all caps than in a mix of upper and lower case. See sample below:

Note: We do not recommend using all caps in the Goudy Cursive font.

36 point fonts are usually used on album covers and for vertical lines on the spine. For smaller albums and longer titles, you may need to use 24 point. For the most part, the largest font size that will fit will produce the best results.

24 and 18 point fonts are usually used for embossing in the lower right corner of the album front, the back, or for horizontal lines on the spine where space is limited.

The final choice of font, size, placement, and color is, of course, up to you. If you are unsure, we will be happy to offer suggestions.

If you have had an album embossed before, send me the spine and I will match the lettering and position whenever possible.
