The 'Boss Man's Embossing Services We specialize in foil embossing on Creative Memories ® scrapbook and photo albums. Our embossing services utilize a process whereby a colored foil is adhered to a product, (i.e. scrapbook or photo album cover), by applying heat and pressure. This is the same basic process that scrapbook manufacturers use to emboss bordered edges onto the album covers. Like the manufacturers' process, our embossing is permanent. Our embossing machine will accept any flat surface. We can emboss the center (top to bottom), of an album that is up to 12 inches tall, or on the top or bottom 6 inches of an album of almost any size. The album parts to be embossed must lie flat on the machine, so the albums must be disassembled for embossing. Creative Memories® albums disassemble and reassemble easily, as do a number of other manufacturer's albums. We can emboss in a number of different locations on your scrapbook / photo album. Some of the most popular locations include: Front Cover of album1/3 of the way
down from the top & centered left to right. Back of albumBottom, centered left to right. SpineVertically (lengthwise). We can emboss most Creative Memories® albums. We can also emboss most tightly woven fabric albums, as well as most leather, and leatherette type albums. However, very textured albums (such as tapestry or travel), and thickly padded albums cannot be embossed. Please contact us before sending your album to us if you have any questions or concerns about having your album embossed. Please note that the embossing process is done by hand, slight imperfections
in the finish due to the fabric weave and texture is normal and
is not considered a defect. Although we can emboss some other brands of albums, we only guarantee the results on Creative Memories ® albums. |
